Location

With regular flights to and from Singapore, Jakarta, Bali and other airports within Indonesia, the international airport in Manado (MDC) is well serviced. From there we meet you and handle your transport to Bangka island, with a 1 hour drive to the north coast and then a short (30-45 minute) boat transfer to Nomad Divers.

Bangka Island is located off the coast of North Sulawesi in Indonesia. With the regional capital, Manado, nearby the area is bustling and well-developed. The island itself is around 9km long with a peak rising to 350m (accessible for a hike of around 3 hours). Nomad Divers is located in a well-protected bay facing southeast towards Lembeh with views of the Minahasan volcanoes creating a dramatic backdrop. Bangka Island is a naturalist’s paradise, with as much to see above the waterline as below, including tarsiers, monitor lizards and several kinds of birds and butterflies.
